The General Product Safety Directive’s list of European standards for presumption of conformity has been updated by the EU (GPSD). The most recent modification went into effect on August 16, 2022.
Safety-Related European Standards Updated for Child Care Articles, Gymnastic Equipment, Lighters, Among Others. By using EU Directive 2001/95/EC on general product safety, all the earlier mentioned products are subject to safety regulations. European standards are frequently established to ensure that specific technical/safety-related requirements are met by manufacturers of such products. These standards are based on the safety provisions of the Directive.
