Pakistan Opens 6 GHz Band for Unlicensed RLAN Operation

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced the opening of the 6 GHz spectrum band for unlicensed RLAN operation. With this move, Pakistan becomes the 10th country in the Asia Pacific region to adopt 6 GHz for Wi-Fi. Currently, only 60 countries globally have unlocked the 6 GHz band, either fully or partially, for RLAN (Wi-Fi) service.
