Guidance on radio Standards specification RSS195
i) The notice provides guidance on the wireless communication service (WCS) for equipment’s
operating in the bands 2305-2320 MHz and 2345- 2360MHZ, Issue 2. The purpose of this notice is to reiterate the standards for transmitter unwanted emissions set forth in section 5.6 of Radio Standards Specification 195 (RSS-195), Issue
ii) To reduce the harmful interference between WCS equipment and the adjacent services, RSS195's more strict criteria were considered
essential.
SUBTEL publishes WiFi 6 Technology Regulations!
Chile has newly issued Resolution 2844 Exempt on September 6, 2022, which revises Resolution 1985
Exempt which was published in the year (2017) for fixed technical Standard for Short Range Devices.
The updates are as follows
i) Mainly to review the radio spectrum of WiFi 6 technology.
ii) WiFi 6E&39’s frequency range to be replaced with 5925-6425 MHz from 5925-7125 MHz for unlicensed frequency bands
iii) Modification of power limits.
China CCC list has been modified – September 2022.
Safety test standard GB 4943.1 2022 has been issued by China on July 19, 2022. This was adopted by CCC and CQC Certification for Audio Video and IT equipment.
Singapore published IMDA TS CD-SEC for cellular devices which defines minimum technical standards mainly to reduce threats and safeguard communication networks in July 2022. The online equipment registration commenced on 19 September 2022 and manufacturers have time until 1st of July 2023 to confirm the requirements of IMDA TS CDSEC.
The Official letter published on 21st Aug 2022. This new letter defines the guidelines for module approval in order to harmonize the understanding between OCDs and Laboratories in Brazil. There are no big changes in the procedure that E3Tech already implemented in the past years for our projects and this official letter basically formalizes the best practices and minimum requirements to avoid different understandings between OCD.
