China Compulsory Certification (CCC) is a certification system similar to other quality standardization certifications such as the European CE system. However, there are significant differences. Introduced in 2002, the CCC certificate is mandatory for both imported goods and products manufactured in China. The formulation, administration, and implementation rules of the CCC are overseen by three key authorities: the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), the Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA), and the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC). To sell or use products in China, a CCC certificate must be obtained for items falling under any of the 22 product categories specified in the CCC catalogue. It’s important to note that foreign reports are not accepted, and all products must undergo local testing in China.
The State Radio Regulation of China (SRRC) governs the regulation and certification of radio-related products in China. This certification is specific to products that utilize radio frequencies or wireless communication technologies. Manufacturers seeking to market radio devices in China must comply with the regulations set forth by the SRRC to ensure their products meet the necessary standards and requirements for radio operation and safety.
