TEC has released a new notification updating the requirements of compliance for some of the PON Test Parameters. The details are as below-
- Status of PON Parameters
- Protocol Test for Any PON Interface is now exempted till 31-12-2023
- Automatic Laser Shutdown (ALS) or Automatic Power Shutdown (APSD), compliance to this parameter is being accepted as self-declaration of conformity by the applicant
- ECR- Applicant may upload the test reports/test results indicating the ECR values calculated/tested as per TEC standard with testing done in-house by OEM or through any NABL accredited test lab.
