Earlier, it has been officially notified by CPCB to Custom department for the release of shipments of the items notified in E-waste rule 2022 provided condition that producers shall submit the copy of Undertaking along with Acknowledgment copy of application submitted in EPR portal on or before 30th June 2023.
As per recent notification by CPCB, extension of 2 months i.e. 31st Aug 2023 has been given to those producers who has submitted the application of EPR in EPR portal already by now. Producers has been given time till 31st Aug to release their shipments stuck in custom as long as they have submitted the application.
