Argentina ENACOM modifies the standards for the RAMATEL Label

Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) in Argentina amended the specifications for RAMATEL Labels, adding the following additional placement options:

Labelling for construction or packaging limits: It is acceptable to print the marking in the user handbook, quick start guidelines, and/or relevant packaging if it cannot be done directly on the product owing to construction or size restrictions.

Labeling for equipment installed in vehicles: It is necessary to print the regulatory marking in the user manual and documents that come with the vehicle in cases where the approved equipment is installed inside of vehicles (cars, boats, planes, motorcycles, etc.) and is not readily visible. Alternatively, the marking must be made public on the manufacturer’s or importer’s official website.

Electronic Labeling: If electronic labelling is used, instructions on how to access the marking must be included in the user manual, quick start guide, packaging, and/or on the official website of the product’s maker or importer.
